Description It's the bigger and improved version of this one . I found it was too small and repetitive when viewed in a large area and it appeared to me rather annoying as a pattern. So I added some more dogs and now I'm much more pleased with the overall effect when repeated. The second layer with the symbols though... not sure if I like it.

I spent most of the time figuring out how to aktually MAKE patterns like that in photoshop. So if anyone knows a good workflow for accomplishing complex repeating patterns in PS - please share it! And of course if you've got suggestions for alternative prgrammes, I'd like to hear of them too

Wow, this is cool I like the fluidity of the design. It would be nice on a dressy shirt, possibly with more muted colours. I've always been intrigued by the idea of creating repeating patterns, but haven't jumped into it myself. I'm pretty sure that if you just keep doing it, the workflow and do's and dont's will naturally emerge for you. Sorry I can't help more.

thanks a lot, glad you like it! just as you say i guess the workflow will come in time. right now i'd rather be animating, but the patterns will surely come round again.
