germany made about six movies based on the novels in the 60s,
a animated movie called winnetoon for some reason (i guess it was made in the 2000s). and now they started to make movies again based on the novels in 2016, they are a bit more edgy.

i only watched the winnetoon movie but i want to watch the other movies in the future when i can. as a kid i had the Winnetou and Old Shatterhand audio dramas, i loved them and i became a fan of the characters. and it was pretty interesting how a german who came to america became friends with a native american.

i'm a bit confused why i forgot about them, they were a big part of my childhood.
