Hello! Unless we're mistaken, this piece seems to be heavily referenced, and from what we've found, we're not sure which picture it might have been referenced from!
If you could please let us know if it was referenced and what picture it was referenced from - as well as place the reference's link into the Artist's Description - that would be wonderful! hi, the only picture i looked at to draw this was the official art of dewpider and maybe some screenshots, as this was my first time ever drawing it i certainly didn't intend to heavily reference anything.

No worries, no worries! We definitely understand referencing an official picture, especially for the first time with drawing a Pokémon! It just caught our eyes easily, so we wanted to be sure and ask for the mention/link to be in the description as well! We have no problems with referencing or heavily referencing, so long as a link to the original is provided. Especially in the case where you're trying to draw something near exactly like the reference image!

but my concern is, I did not with any intent try to directly copy or make a spitting image copy of the official art? it is not traced or anything. it happens to be facing the same way but because of how symmetrical dewpider is, it's bound to look similar.

Oh, we completely understand, and that's totally fine! The only thing we don't accept is tracing, which we've already decided you did not do. But referencing, and in this case, heavily referencing, we would like the link to be in the artist's description on the deviation so that it adhere's to our rules. Even if you did not mean to heavily reference it, we understand that you've used an image to help you draw, and we would like that image to be known.
As I said before, this is totally fine. Just, please, add the link into the Artist's Comments of the piece and I will happily reward you with your PD and levels!
