we're outranked these days by a lot of real young fans with only 'zomg sonamy' on thier minds, no to sterotype but... browsing DA can be a depressing experience in that regard. There's a general lack of maturity all around.

I think people just want to hate her and are trying to find a reason thats better than she's not Amy.
Which stinks. I like AMys charecter just fine, but I don't hate her because she's Sonics 'kinda' interest in Sonic X. I'm totally confused by it all. I wish people could accept that we can like different charecters and different pairs without being... ugh, you know...extremists >_<

Haha, yeah I've heard that argument with the whole Mary-Sue thing. And agreed, Amy's character is pretty good, although in the Archie comics for Sonic the Hedgehog, she gets pretty....weird and obsessive, I mean...more than they used to have her. I wish they'd give her a little more independence as a character. People say that Sally's character in Archie "sucks" because she is "stuck up" and "too independent", but I think they did pretty good on her...

It's better to have an independent woman who knows what she wants than a girl who is obsessive over someone who loves someone else (in Archie, Sonic prefers Sally over Amy). Problems too arise when people acknowledge that Sega of Japan refuses to note the fact that Sega of America's stamp of approval of the AoStH/SatAM & Archie Sonic canons existed before Sega of Japan created the OVA and Sonic X (which brought Amy to Americans on TV after Sally was established, considering that Amy was brought by Sega of Japan from manga company Shogakuken in 1993--for Sonic CD--after Sally was created with approval from Sega of America [and the fact that SoA existed before SoJ makes things all the more problematic]).

Yes, these couple fights have brought up quite thesituation between the Sonic universes (and Sega of Japan with Sega of America). I have to agree about Sonic SatAm coming waay before the Sonic X planning, though some Amy fans would look at that differently...and of course with Sally independant spirt and what-not, she makes a great character, none-the-less a couple with Sonic. Sonic and Amy are extremely popular, admittably, but Sonic And Sally are still going!

I like the angle of Sal's face, it's always hard to draw characters from that angle, but you pulled it off nicelly.
