she wonders
what is it like to be a star
what would it be like to live
to be a hero
and to die
each star is a piece of a soul
a soul of a true hero
it was her job to place them about
in the sky like a display
she wonders about each story
out of all she wonders about love
never had she met a soul
only the grass at her feet
how it must feel
for two souls to connect
she envies the deceased lovers
whose lives are displayed above
for when she touches each star
she feels the strongest emotion felt by each soul
love was the best
love was the only unforgettable one
