The composition and focus are awesome! This is a really great shot!
As mentioned before, the child's grip is very powerful in the photo as a whole, it adds a lot of emotion to the picture.

the shallow depth of field and shot in general leaves nothing to be desired.

But for kids life is a constant competition, a proof of their power.
The gesture came naturally to the child when he grabbed some wheat.
