Great shot. Story telling as well as great photography. Really great mix of light and colour tones. For me the yellow in the skin tones is perhaps pushing a little hard, but given the complexity of the colour in the ballance of the image, it probably needs to be that way (and hey...It might just be my monitor !! )

Did you used gelled lights or was this location ambient lighting.

You keep coming with great new work, this is clearly another example, it's really inspiring and a beautiful shot.

Are you using Mac or Windows? What browser?
I think they don't look particularly hard on my computer, it might just be my taste, or I have to start checking on other browsers for proper color balance

I used gels, I absolutely love them. The shoot was done in my living room (!) so definitely no way of getting the yellow tones out of the ambient lighting.

Hi Rossella,

I'm using Windows and both Explorer and Firefox depending on whether I'm feeling kind to foxes (Ok ok usually...the fox!)

Like me you must have found that when uploading to some sites contrast can change a little, I don't know how all these sites work but it wouldn't surprise me if some of them employed image optimisers of some sort and I know from personal experience I've uploaded a few images and thought......WHAT !!!!?
Comes with the territory I guess.

I did think Gipsy might be a location shoot. I love location, the ambience of the light is so much more believable, hard to get right, but by comparision it makes some studio work look a little bland tonally.

I caught sight of the recumbant shot you took in this set that was taken with the guitar....WOW! definitely my favourite everything working perfectly!

Its great work. I ain't never gonna catch you up at this rate
