Great emotion this photo has, great emotion indeed... The facial expression is realy moving, and the fact that you don't actuallty see the eyes is adding to the sence of helplessnes on behalf of the viewer.
The lighting brings to mind a noire-like, retro effect, as do colors, soft, dark and dim...
All the gadgets are carefuly selected not to break this sence of the "glance into the past", even the style of clothing and the hair-do are appropriate. Lovely technique in all, man!
