I usually draw with pen to make lineart on sai but I wanted to look how it will look when i draw it with brush so I draw this ^This is ultra-style-experiment because i use only brush to draw it and I don't use mulply layer to make shadows. But I like it.
And you? DO you prefer this or old style?

Now this has "elegance" written all over it. Now I've read in your description that this is one of the few, if not only, times where you use brushes to create your art, the other times being pen. But for someone who uses it very rarely (get it?), you've surely succeeded at using it to your advantage. Every single layer of brushes complements the lighting of Rarity's figure, and it almost seems to fit with her exquisite personality. I guess the only downside is that I've seen many other pieces emphasizing Rarity's fabulousness, so the originality is kind of diminished. But hey, every artist has a different vision and distinct interpretation, and yours is legit. I haven't seen much art from you, but as an answer to your question, yes, keep using the brush. I guarantee you'll end up with something you'll like.
