Description
Drawing for a poster for a competition in one of my classes. I won't win, but I had fun making this. I'll probably put the whole poster in my portfolio at one point.Pen tool is so awesome, I can't believe I've been drawing for two years and just discovered it. Other pen tool fans- do you use it with a mouse or tablet? (Like if you do have a tablet, do you prefer to use a mouse?)
when will dA learn how to handle png files properly

I find using the pen tool is easier with a mouse actually--I have more control over where I position and adjust the anchor points!

About the pen-tool thing, I usually use my tablet as opposed to the mouse. It's just so much easier. But I JUST got the tablet and am still very much a beginner but I'm getting there!^_^

I only have a mousepad, and I vastly prefer my tablet over that.

Oh, that's so annoying about the black background. When you full-view it it disappears, but I don't know why all png thumbnails have black in the background. I don't know why dA doesn't fix it, it doesn't seem like it would be that hard
