-Joris '01' and Marley '02'-My original characters from my novel "Preliator". My first try at designing/drawing them since I was always too lazy to do so.

A quick, messy painting I did to kill time. Also the ugliest thing I've ever done in a long time - over a year or so =3= So please bear with me, its nothing special, and its not like I'm gonna draw much either :"D
Oh, sorry if it's not as expressive as my previous ones, I only work best with depressing mood
I have to go to work tomorrow and also start working hard on my graduation thesis, so yeah, bye~

Is it commission you meant, or merely random request? I used to do some requests in the past, but these days I've become too busy to manage it, actually I just got back to dA after a whole year of hibernation (and depression). I think I might try to manage it in the future once I'm done with my study, can you wait? Thank you for asking.

I LOVE her hair, and her expression. She does look fresh XD I also like the way leaves look like and his expression as well. They look like....so calmed and quite and all. Dunno, I do like the feeling it gives.

Oh well, I think I failed a bit at their expression since she was suppose to give out the energetic feeling and he, well, I'm still not so sure about his personality but he's a calm and gentle man XD Not like this, here he looks like....someone naive, and so easy to pick on LMAO

I could say it has changed...but, since this is different from your other works (starting from the expressions and such XD). I think it could've been brighter, because this way, it gives one the feeling that it is on reaaaally early morning...so it is still kinda cold XD You've used brighter colours in other works... XD
As I said, probably using brighter colours might've done the trick, but I did like it. Bright colours make things warm. This one's fresh XD

Naaaaaaah...I dun think so dear, I mean, there wont be lots of comments and faves for this one, trust me, I just know it, cuz it's nothing...special. The coloring might be smoother than the previous one which happened to be Lyd, but the reason why 'she' got so many faves is because of her expression/eyes : )) Ppl seem to like expressive/gloomy pics more XD (so do I)
Its different? I dont see many differences, and you know, this one just reminds me so much of Lavi, and one drawing I once did for him at the beginning (though I deleted it). I wanted to make them look more realistic but obviously it was so hard to do that traditionally, I'm so used to doing that with my tablet D:

Well, I mean I get an impression of their personalities in the picture, like I get the feeling that she's laid back because of her peaceful smile and casual pose, and that he's a little more...how should I put it, upright, perhaps, what I mean is straight-forward or something like that (at random loss of words) because of his neater, more professional apparell, but also a kind, gentle type based on his smile. I wonder if I'm anywhere near correct in my assumptions lol
As for traditional vs. CG, you can play around with it and mix it up - you don't need to pick one or the other.
