Excuse the terrible pun, I simply could not think of a better title that did not state the obvious.

That aside, I actually prefer the regular colour-scheme of Marowak and Cubone over the shiny alternate scheme. I also like Cubone much more than Marowak, though that's not to say it isn't still a cool Pokémon in its own right. I wanted to give Marowak a triumphant pose - perhaps it had just achieved evolution after much difficulty. However I still wanted it to look angry or intimidating, since the back-story concerning Cubone's skull helmet is a little dark and would leave a scar upon the Cubone's psyche. Triumphant after overcoming the loss of its parent(s) with a lingering feeling of bitterness from the emotional burden it had to endure up to that point, and further on.

Done with Pen and Colouring Pencils, touched up on photoshop. (Fixing colours and changing the white background).
