Hello everyone! Hope you guys have been alright! I haven't post in way too much time, anyways, I've been practicing and this illustration is part of a set inspired on Dungeons and Dragons Fantasy art i'll be posting tonight.This is a pretty much classic figure, the elf rogue.

He's like a wild cat in a corner. I think it's perfect the look in his eyes, the stance, the overall look. Elvish and dangerous at once! Good work!

Pixelsama man!!! How have you been? Yes I've been always training indeed, I'm trying to shift a bit my style towards my first influences in art. In time I will try to stack my best pieces and attempt to work with Wizards of the Coast.

Aaa yeah, it's good to go back to the traditional route with art. I've been doing too much digital stuff recently, I need to get my paints out!
What have you been doing for work? Just curious. I'm here in China and it's been great, been painting colour keys and designing backgrounds n stuff

Keith, man your work is amazing, your colors are top material! China really sounds like an exciting place to be working!! I've been working in casual games for the past 3 years, it's been a learning process, I'm doing a bit of everything, from character/background design to matte/texture painting, been practicing everything I can. But right now all I wish is to be able to see my work in cards and RPG manuals

Ooh games, what sort of games or have you signed contracts where you can't say much about them?
It's good to do a bit of everything, gives you lots of new skills. That's what I've been trying to do too.
Good luck with your future prospects and working with Magic gathering and such, sue it would be ace to see some of those cards you could produce. I guess that's why you have been making these ilustrations, for your portfolio.

Answering to your questing, yes there's an Non disclosure thing involved.
About the fantasy art, this is mainly for portfolio and also to push myself further into the direction of my favorite artists. My intention is to produce a set of 10 fantasy themed pieces and submit them to publishers to learn their feelings about my work and if possible to produce more and more fantasy art.

Yeah, I haven't updated in a while on the blog, I better get that done over the weekend if I have time. But yes things here have been great fun. Something funny happens each day.
It's good you are making the iniciative to put together a portfolio you want for the work you want to get, I'm scared I might be doing background stuff for life since my portfolio keps getting lots of that work and very little anything else. Gotta take some time out to focus my portfolio like you have.
