I have absolutely nothing against JeremiexAelita though! Not at all! I love Jeremie to death and always will!
I will agree with most of you with the fanfictions though. Jeremie would never betray or harm Aelita in any way! He's too much of a sweet heart! And yes, he did make all of those sacrifices, so I understand why so many love them together. Can I just say that Odd sacrificed a lot, too? I know that he knew that when he would get devirtualized, he would be perfectly fine, but still. Always jumping in front of her, taking all of those lazers, eh . . yeah weak arguement, I know.
But, where's the excitement? The adventure? In the show, after they got Aelita out, all Jeremie did was continue to sit at the computer 24/7. OxA just has so much potential, in my honest opinion.
My reasoning isn't solely based on Replika's kiss. There was so much that happened, although most of them less obvious and would take some loser like me to notice, between them that just points me in the OxA direction.
I'm sorry about my rant, I'm just trying to defend it in the most civil way possible. Feel free to argue with me on any of this, I'm more than happy to exchange a few opinions

Yes, Odd did sacrifice his ordinary life for Aelita's sake, and jumped in the way of lasers to save her from the monsters, but it's not the same as Jeremy and Aelita's relationship. In the beginning, Odd found Jeremy crazy for having a crush on a "virtual chick." Jeremy actually wanted to continue with his mission to materialize Aelita so she could lead a normal existence like the rest of them.
Jeremy became an insomniac for Aelita (lack of sleep is very unhealthy, trust me) while Odd usually slept calmly, he also committed illegal acts such as hacking government websites ([link] ), bought stuff for her with his own money, and so much more!
About the "lack of excitement" in their relationship, it made them more believable in my eyes. Contrary to popular belief, love is not all adventure, rainbows, and unicorns: arguments and distractions do occur. In fact, Jeremy's obsession with the computer threatens his relationship with Aelita. That is how love is. Therefore, I will only see Aelita and Odd's closeness as one of friendship, not romance.

As I said, it was a weak arguement; Odd risking his life like that doesn't compare to all of the things Jeremie did.

There really isn't much for me to say to what you've said, because every bit of it was true. I know not all relationships are an adventure or "rainbows and unicorns 
Another thing that sort of bugs me is how people continue to defend jeremiexaelita by naming all of the thing Jeremie did. Yes, he's crazy for her, and he would do ANYTHING for her. But to me, it seems sort of one sided. Aelita DOES have a definite crush on Jeremie, but she never really returns it to the extent that Jeremie did.
Aelita seems like a free spirit that would love to explore. I just have a hard time seeing Jeremie fulfill that. Sure they're only 13 and he has plenty of time to change, but so can Aelita. And Odd. Aelita may find herself not having the same feelings for Jeremie and may want to move on. I think Jeremie respects her enough to let her go, but this makes me sad as well. Odd could change by the fact that he could become less flirty and want to settle down.
Again, I have nothing against JeremiexAelita, I love them, too. I really don't think that OxA will happen, so don't get me wrong. It just seems more believable in my eyes
Ah ranting, really makes me feel like I'm losing my point.

You know if you don't like this pairing then don't look at it (: It's quite simple. Though I do respect your opinion. I don't care what people hate or like. Though I gotta say Jeremy does care for Aelita, but he would care about his computer more :\ that's just me though.

I noticed that, too. I also noticed that in most OxA fanfics(or at leat the ones I managed to read) Jeremie is shown as uncaring jerk. Of course, he's sometimes a jerk, because he's not perfect. but, I think he knows that, too, and wants to change. I don't think Odd would be so willing to do the same. Also, some support OxA because of the episode 73(fake kiss). Which is just ridiculous.

I know right! Everytime i read a odd/aelita fic it always talks about Jeremie betraying aelita in some way and it really pisses me off. Jeremie would never intentionally betray aelita in any way her loves her too much for that.

People with brains that respect CANNON ships, AND personalities.
Think about it, even though Aelita can be sarcastically playful sometimes, there is no way in hell that she would ever even consider being with a total player like Odd.
Sometimes i think that the reason why Odd flies through girls is because of his total infatuation with himself XD
