the sunset last night was just so damn good.it made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
and not just cause it was usually hot out.

The colours in this are stunning, the left hand side has such deep oranges and bright yellows it really looks like its above a giant fire but without the smoke. In the foreground and right hand side, the image takes on a more mellow colour scheme with shadows and gentle purples. This is because unlike a lot of sunsets, the shot is off centre to the sun keeping all the bright intensity to one half of the image. Timing is very important with sunset photographs, at this time of day the sun sets a lot faster than expected so a few minutes too late can ruin a shot, this one has been taken at my favorite time when the sun is no longer actually visable but still lighting the clouds and creating long shadows cast by lower clouds as can bee seen in the centre of this shot. My only criticism of the shot is the silhouetted foreground, there are a couple of reflected surfaces breaking the solid black, although there not enough to distract from the image as a whole e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="
