I still can't stop thinking they're doing.. something else.
But it's a great drawing! Thylacines are fantastic creatures, definitely something unique.

Possibly, they could do a slow quadrupedal hop like a kangaroo does when it is walking. Thylacines can stand on their hind legs, to survey their surroundings, when they do this, they rest on their tail, and the flat of their feet, making them look kangaroo-ey.

They look great! but thylacines most likely would not be able to hop continuously, their body is not designed for hopping. Still love it though. (sorry for being such a critique, I couldn't help it)

i was looking at information and saw something about them being able to hop. maybe wild happy ones bounded and hopped like a rabbit. the zoo ones were unhappy and I guess people were not interested in studying them way back then.
