I know what it's like to want to be blonde and blue-eyed and "normal", just like everyone else. It took me so many years to finally accept who I am.Racism sucks. So please stop it.

Racism should really be stopped. I'm a Filipino with brown-skin and most people connote that we're a race of servants and domestic helpers because most Filipinos work abroad for their family (yes for their family, NOT JUST FOR MONEY alone).
My dad works in Kuwait but he's not a servant. And even if he is an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) by chance, it won't mean that he's a servant. This goes also to the editor situated in Hong Kong who tackled on this subject in bias and wrote an article that Filipinos are a race of servants. HELL to him.
Also, they say that all Asian people are the same. That's not true. Japanese and Chinese may look the same but they have a very different culture. The same goes to Koreans and Taiwanese as well as for us Filipinos and Malays.

Prejudice sucks.
When I was younger, I used to feel sad because I was overweight and everyone would laugh at me. They called me a nerd because I always had good grades and my only friend was Gabriella. I had really low self-esteem and thought I was ugly.
And until not too long ago, I used to wish my eyes had remained blue instead of turning to green.
Now I like the way I look, I like my personality. I don't have blue eyes, I'm not blonde, I do not have the ΓΌbermodel body type, and I'm surely not the most popular person in the world, but I'm happy the way I am, and I think people should accept themselves (and others) the way they are.

It still takes me a lot to accept myself. I'm not fair skinned myself, I have dark hair, eyes and skin, and I'm not really proud of it to be honest. But theres nothing wrong with it, is there? Its horrible that people are lead to believe that a fair race is a better one.
