Geewillickers, I almost jumped out of my skin when I finally got to be able to scan my painting's colors correctly, you have no clue how giddy I feel.

But yes, Valentine's Day isn't just for couples. It's for family time, too.
So I decided to draw a father with his daughter enjoying some well-needed time together reading the local news on Valentine's Day.

I'm really satisfied with how this came out .. mostly because of my scanner finally behaving itself!

This is so adorable and heartwarming. It's nice to see some artwork oriented toward family love and togetherness. Now all it needs is a cute little cat all warm and cozy somewhere. Your traditional artwork is purely amazing and just whimsical. It's like something out a children's book. I love how free flowing the background is~
