I have to ask, why do so many people design alien life forms to look like this all the time? I know that they'd evolve differently to earth species but if some conditions were similiar surely species would look 'similiar' to species on earth.

The body looks perhaps too similar to a Terran tetrapod, but overall the creature looks great
