PLUMP FLESHY GLOSSY GOODNESS
This is one of the more aesthetically appealing and genuinely Barlowe-esque versions of this creature I've seen so far--the turgid body segments and the closely packed fine wrinkles strike an authentically Darwinian vibe!

Thanks! Iβm practicing as often as I can as I want to add some more realism (or at least some color) to my designsβ¦ This oneβs just a quick sketch though
Iβm using Photoshop for all my digital artΒ

Thank you!
The time between uploads will probably be a bit longer from now on as I want to upload more high-quality pieces as well as fully digital ones

Ah I see and I understand, detailed work takes more time.
Your welcome!

Yeah, that's the main problem I have with digital art as I tend to be a bit impatient sometimes

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice. Don't worry too much about the whole linework part, though, cause it does take some time.

Thanks!
Oh, the linework's just messy here because I couldn't be bothered to make it look nice... The picture's more to experiment with some different coloring techniques

Awesome. Hopefully we'll be seeing some fully finished digital pieces in the future (when you have the time of course), because they're truly beautiful.

Thank you very much!
I'm actually working on a fully digital piece at the moment... My goal is to transition to digital art this year (I'll still be sketching in pencil of course)
