It would be cool to see bats take on a quetzocolatus like role maybe they could feed on future cats!

I think a giant bat would be even more slender and reduced than that, but all of these are great.

I’ve got some sketches of giant predatory bats….

Not bad.In my project the mass extinction was as big as the K-T one so the carnivora order now survive only as aquatic , semi-aquatic and isolated forms. The large herbivores evolved from hedgehogs and hyraxes.

Thanks. The mass extinction in my project was of similar proportions as the permian one so the surviving species are mostly quite small

Quite a big one.Do you think that the idea of ungulate hedgehogs and deer like moonrats is possible cause modern ungulates evolved from small creatures similar to them.

I don't know if these species could evolve into somethink horse-like... But some other small animals could probably do that but I reckon they would already have to be slightly cursorial

Also artiodactyla evolved from small moonrat like animals and the ungulate hedgehogs evolve only rhino , paracerathere and chalicothere like animals and the closest thing to horses are some goat sized hyracodon like animals.

Listen mate, it's your project so just do whatever the hell you want... But don't ask my opinion and then complain if my answer isn't to your liking

Hedgehogs are a bit cursorial. You have not seen a hedgehog , run haven't you. Those things can reach a speed of 11 km/h and that's quite a speed for a little fatty which is no larger than 30 cm.

They're not really cursorial. A cursorial organism is one that is adapted specifically to run. Hedgehogs just run to escape predators. I think there are so e better candidates for future horse analogs
