I read that Budda's mother had a dream of a white elephant bringing her a lotus flower..i liked the image.On reading about white elephants..most were not really WHITE..but PALE..thus mine is more pink and pale then white.

This is by far one of the MOST beautiful paintings I have ever seen. I've always had an extreme love of elephants since I was just a "wee one" and the lotus is gorgeous. I'm actually on my own little adventure trying to paint a lotus for my baby boy's nursery.. I'm 5 months pregnant so I've got some time, but I'm VERY MUCH out of practice with drawing and painting. I would love to have this hanging not in my bedroom, but his as well! Excellent work!

yeah I love this painting. I really did this one for myself, cause I really have a love for elephants and Indian art and mythology. I was surprised I sold this one like the moment I put it up for sale on Etsy.com. I kinds wonder if I should have kept it- but you can't hold onto everything.
