Working on Erien's backstory. I've decided that he's half-Featherborn and as such has no wings, raised in a small community that he never felt like he belonged as a child. His Featherborn home was wiped out by a wildfire when he was eight years old and he was left behind, unable to follow his fleeing family into the sky. He barely survived, and was taken in by his moms Jae and Tashi who found him several days later.
