When it comes to croosovers, I just love reading good fanfics of Naruto xover with other animes I know, One Piece is one. One fanfic I especailly love is titled "Shinobi of the High Seas" by Kenchi618. The Elemental Nations are part of the One Piece world, and being bored at home due to the lasting peace Naruto had achieved, he set sail beyond the Elementail Nations to explore the wider world. He meets Luffy and the other Straw Hats, and he eventually forms his own crew - the Foxhound Pirates. Vivi Nefertari becomes a crewmember, after certain circumstances between the World Government and Arabasta caused her to flee her home for her own protection. In Chapter 35 of "Shinobi of the High Seas", they landed on Constellation Island, a place where it is always night, making it a lovely tourist place for stargazing. Wanting to see a scene from this chapter drawn, I'd commissioned Cheshire387 to draw it, and Chesire pulled through with this touching moment between Naruto and Vivi where after looking at the stars, Vivi noticed Naruto smiling at her, making her smile back. And yes, by this time in the fic, Vivi started to crush on Naruto, especially after everything he done for her over time. Given she is 16 years old, Vivi goes through the usual emotional drama as teen girls go through when they developed a crush.

So yes, this scene, of Naruto and Vivi sharing a tender moment under the stars, is a commission done for me by the talented !

For those who read "Shinobi of the High Seas", I want to point out that I did the best I can to describe the scene as best I can derived from what I read in the fic. Certain things I added from my imagination to what the background look like from what I read. The fic described Naruto's clothes from Chapter 1, but it did not give me a clue on what Vivi was wearing in Chapter 35. So I chosen a particular dress Vivi wore in canon from what I found online. As I said, I did the best I can, so I apologize if I had missed anything from the fic.

BTW, for anyone's information, Naruto is not a teenager. He's way older than Vivi in the fic or anyone in his crew or the Straw Hats. He's physically younger due to not aging normally as most people do.

Sadly, after Kenchi618 started writing the timeskip, where Naruto and the Foxhound Pirates are in the New World, Kenchi stalled and it seems he is likely not going to finish the fic. I wonder how Kenchi can write it and still keep it within the New World canon events. Not going to be easy. When the One Piece series ends, we'll see if Kenchi might come back to finish this crossover fic.

I want to say that this is the full-version I'd posted. I just can't have the heart to crop this art. I love the scene, given it was a touching affectionate moment between Naruto and Vivi under the stars. Vivi was teased later by the other Foxhound Pirates, much to her embarrassment.
