Description I mean if Nintendo does plan to make more animated movies of their games as they are saying right now, Illumination is setup to surpass all other studios in how much they can earn from those movies especially if the Mario movie is just a taste of things to come.

And I do believe Disney is in serious trouble right now with all of their recent losses as well as relying now on remakes and now sequels to their past hits which even I think is a big risk with Frozen and Toy Story really losing some of their positive popularity thanks to Lightyear and a bad sequel with Frozen 2.

Plus unlike Animat, I do think their recent outings with Gay characters has been a mess. To quote Marge Simpson, "Normally I'll say you should stand up for what you believe in, but you been doing that an awful lot lately". Not only do their limit in what countries can show those movies (Russia/Middle East/China) but also those gay characters haven't left much of an impression in audiences either even with LGBT fans (Anyone remember that Clade kid from Strange World?). And those that do stand out are from their animated series like the Owl House, which again Disney cancel it's season 3 in favor of 3 specials instead, which sounds an awfully alot familiar to what Cartoon Network did to Steven Universe after Rebecca Sugar refused to take out the wedding scene.

And Dreamworks while looking fine right now, doesn't exactly look like it's on the right track because they recently announced they intention to make a live action trilogy of How To Train Your Dragon, just barely a few years after the series ended, which raises the possibly that Dreamworks will do so with the rest of their library (A live action Shrek anyone? How about Guardians?).

I don't think it was possible but really looks like Illumination is indeed gonna be the King of Animated hits in the years to come if this is indeed the start of the Nintendo Cinematic Universe and attract audiences with the most famous characters in all of media.
