Description The three most important fictional girls in my life who have changed everything.

Currently playing "Bioshock Infinite" and reliving all those moments with Elizabeth I am so lovestruck with her. The only other fictional girls I had felt the same way with recently were Anna & Elsa. At the time Bioshock was released Elizabeth was compare a lot to Rapunzel but a more spot on comparison overall will be with Anna & Elsa. Like Anna & Elsa, Elizabeth has been lock-up in one place and her interactions with the world outside are similar to Anna's innocent views of her time outside the castle. Elizabeth's issues with herself and her powers are in similar lines to Elsa's own suffering with her powers. On a more insight meta level, Elizabeth wants to run away from Columbia but can't thanks to the monstrous Songbird who was build to keep her in the city ... meanwhile with Frozen many of us true fans want to see Elsa and Anna as their own characters but can't thanks to their own Songbird , that songbird being the preteen and shipping fans who won't accept the two for who they are and want to keep them as the old disney princess stereotypes by forcefully shipping them to bland prince charming-like characters and being loud and vocal about it.

So every time Elizabeth acts I can't help but see a bit of Anna & Elsa in her. One very special moment shows how a Disney Princess-like female would react to the very gory violence of the game, and the reaction is obvious but so rich in character interaction www.youtube.com/watch?v=il01OA… ; I had written Anna & Elsa in violent fights but miss my opportunity to show both being horrify at people dying in gruesome ways.

Still playing Bioshock and with Frozen Fever coming soon you can bet that all three are going to be central protagonists in a lot of my stuff. Coincidentally enough the titles of these three debuted in the same year! Maybe that's why I easily see a strong connection between the two. Frozen premiered in fall 2013 and was release on home video in spring 2014. Bioshock Infinite came out in spring 2013, "Burial At Sea" last installment came out in 2014.

Here are the funny things about this.

1. If you played the whole of Bioshock Infinite, you learn that Elizabeth's original name was Anna (and was Booker's daughter).  I was actually having trouble figuring out what to call her.  Thankfully, Frozen came along and made that decision easy.
2. According to Game Theory, if Columbia were to exist in real life, its temperatures would average between five and negative twelve degrees Fahrenheit since it is 15,000-20,000 feet above sea level.  I think Elsa would like it there if it wasn't for the crazy people living there.

Yeah I did run into the weird effect of having two girls named Anna. I was going to call Elizabeth By her real name in my fics but that didn't stick with Anna having the same name so "Eliz" stuck instead.

One of the main reasons why I enjoyed exploring Columbia was how it captures the old time feeling of a ideal Disney movie and any classic movie shown on TCM, at least until the racist and violence ruined it. But Elizabeth really makes the entire game a timeless experience. BioShock Infinite is the "protect the princess" game that I always wanted, At least when ignoring the Booker interaction and the tragic ending.

It's kind of scary how Elizabeth just seems to fit right in.

She seems to have that effect, even in Bioshock she was a little weird being around the other realistic looking humans.
