I love this character and not just for being a Latina (Is imply she originates from Mexico). MH as had villains before but Moanica stands out as the most threatening since she wants to encourage monsters to unite and conquer the world of humans, which is something not seen before in MH. Humans have been acknowledge to exist in the MH universe before (Ghouls Rule) but have never been treated as a serious thing until "Welcome To Monster High" which turns into a MH version of X-Men. The human world is what creates Monster High and Draculaura's fascination for it becomes part of the movie's plot and theme, which is what makes this series interesting for me as I always though that MH would be more engaging it the MH girls had to deal with the human world and people as oppose to living in a Monster version of our world that just happens to have their own versions of our locations (Boo York, Scaris, Great Scarier Reef, Hauntlywood). Since Moanica continues to be evil by the film's end and returns in the next one, I really hope they continue the whole human debate since that's what made this film my favorite of the MH series as well as see what made Moanica evil in the first place since considering how torn she look in her fight with Draculaura something really tragic must had happened to her to become the monster she is (No pun intended).
