Description
A Pokémon singing competition, how could that go wrong? Well that's what Danny thought… But now he was staring down the muzzle of a really PO'd Arcainine Cop. He was being arrested for the illegal download of a dozen or so songs, and was being sued for sexual assault by Vanilla the Loppuny's lawyers for hiring Tucker the Golduck… The Arcainine made Danny back up to one of the stage's support beams.

"Now I'm sure we can talk it out…" Danny begged, expecting a painful Flamethrower as an answer. To his surprise nothing came… He opened one 'eye' to see the Arcainine backing off, and in-between him and the dog was a 3.0 billion Pokedollar coin, he was about to take it for himself when a voice rang out:

"That's to cover the royalties and a little something to please the lawyers." The voice said as it came on to the stage. The voice belonged to a three-foot tall male Meloetta, with black hair, and his coat that Meloetta's usually have; turned into a tuxedo like suit.

"Alright fine, pleasure doing business, sir." The Arcainine said, leaving.

"Thank you! Without you I may have been dead… and broke!" Danny stated his mind still greedy.

"No thanks are necessary, just start playing the music!" The Meloetta stated, Merry looked on the computer to see that Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' had been highlighted for playing.

"Okay Merry, start rolling!" Danny stated

"You're really gonna let this guy sing Dr. D?" Merry asked

"Hey, there's gotta be honor among people… and this way I don't owe him for saving my hide!" Danny stated, Merry started rolling the cameras. Surprisingly no one left the crowd, wanting to see Danny get arrested; the judges, however, got bored and started to converse, asking what was going on. Then the stage curtains opened to reveal the Meloetta.

"And just who are you? I haven't seen you at the ranch." Veruka asked, wanting this night to be over so badly.

"My name is Michael ma'am." The Meloetta, Michael, stated.

"Danny did you hire him?" Veruka asked yelling

"I can honestly say: no." Danny smugly stated to the infernape

"Fine, whatever; let's just get this over with." Veruka stated

"Yes, show us vhat you have." Elizabeth stated with her cigarette in her mouth. Michael chuckled,

"I'm sure you won't be disappointed…" Michael said as an eerie mist crept over the stage, Michael looked over to see a Pelipper providing the mist, he mumbled "Thanks Fed." The Pelipper, Fed, winked in return. Everyone looked, questioning what was going on, then to their relief, the music started, and the fog cleared to show Michael wearing a red and black suit.

(Everyone looks on in awe, as he mimics the Thriller moves nearly perfectly)
Under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart

You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes

(Someone in the audience screams as Gastlys float above the crowd)

(Michael pauses as a clock strikes midnight, several Zoroarks
transformed to look like the living dead walk onto the
stage and surround Michael)

(The fake dead take places behind Michael and Michael pops up, zombified.)
(The group goes into a dance scene mimicking the Thriller moves)
(The fog becomes more thick as the zombies finish dancing, when it clears
Michael's back to normal)

"So… how'd I do?" Michael asked, standing on the stage, the crowd remained silent… The judges stared; Matthew stood up and started to clap. Soon the crowd joined him; some shouted 'Michael!' Even Danny stood, awestruck. The curtain closed and Merry tapped Danny on the shoulder to make him snap out of it.

"Thanks… Now, what do the judges have to say about that?" Danny asked the three Pokémon at the judges' booth

"Wonderful! Simply wonderful" Matthew stated

"Best performance of the night!" Veruka yelled clapping

"Ve vere impressed…" Elizabeth stated keeping her composure, even the other contestants were cheering.

"ENCORE, ENCORE, ENCORE!" the crowd cheered, Danny was behind stage with Michael

"So are you gonna give them what they want?" Danny asked

"Heck yeah…" Michael stated, he quickly put on a leather jacket and got out onto the middle of the stage, "HEY! HOW YOU DO-EN?" the crowd replied with cheers of joy. He silenced them by holding up his hand, and the music began.

"C'mon Veruka, live a little! What's the worst that could happen?" Vincent stated

"Veruka may be right." Rupert stated, drink in hand.

"AW CRAP!" Vincent yelled, as something fell and crashed… "Eh… Wonderful weather?"

"VINCENT!" Veruka yelled… Little did they know; that the destruction of the pearl
caused a space/time warp that deleted the past 24 hours in the Pokémon Idol Universe…

Danny grunted and flicked back to regular TV. "Well Merry, I guess for once I have learned a lesson, I'm not going to be trying to make any more TV shows, tomorrow it's back to good old honest thievery." Danny sighed and randomly flicked through channels until something caught his eye.

"Tonight on American Idol…" Danny stared at the screen for a second before a wide grin spread across his face.

"Merry forget everything I just said, where is that old karaoke machine I stole awhile back?"
