What is this!? Traditional media?! Sure is.So, let's be honest, as much as Deryn and Alek try to have a romantic Sunday afternoon, it's pretty much going to end up like this:
Deryn, "Blisters, this is weird."
Alek, "Agreed."
Deryn, "You know... I have some work at home...."
Alek, "Thought you'd never ask. MACHINES- PAPA'S COMING HOOOOOOME!"
And then they would do a bunch of cool Stark Enterprise-esque stuff in their basement or something.

But I think the theme is Summer Afternoons, not "Sunday". But this is still awesome, and they can do this in the Summer
