Hometown: Originally the Moon but now on Equestria
Species: Unicorn

Elssa used to be Rarity's darkness, back when she was turned into a version of Nightmare Moon. But although the white unicorn was since returned to normal, a bit of her nightmare form was left behind, forming into a filly with no memories of her wicked path named Elssa.

Rarity, finding her and remembering how Twilight helped Nyx, took her former darkness in. Although the white unicorn was skeptically at first, she slowly became a mother that she herself never thought to be.

Elssa was a loner, trying to keep her distance but slowly came out of her shell after Nyx and the CMC befriended her. And even when the former villainess remembers her dark path from before, Elssa does not wish to go back to that life again, wanting to make her own path and making friends.

Elssa has the same powers as both her mother and her former Nightmare Rarity self but only used it against those who harms her friends and family.
