Back in the '80s (when comics were still under a dollar), I was a regular reader of Spidey and I wanted Peter Parker to hook up with Felicia (a.k.a. The Black Cat) instead of the whiny Mary Jane Watson...
Maybe in the 4th Spidey movie there will be a new cast (Bryce Howard as Gwen Stacey?!?!) and perhaps a new love interest for Peter.
It's wishful thinking...
