Jack O. Lander’s Bio
The Extended Suburban Almanac Description
He’s sticks to his own rules like how zombies stick to sap.
“If zombies wanna play dirty, then I’ll happily play dirty with them.”
About: Jack Oswald Lander was an infamous thief in Suburbia, being the mastermind behind the devious mass stealing of various items like jewelry, sports cars, and toasters. His sneakiness made him impossible to catch, and he would always get away from those who tried to stop him. However, karma would catch up with him, and he was sent to court. While on trial, Garden Commander saw potential in him, and give him a chance of redemption. Jack though he lucked out, seeing Garden Commander as a sucker, and agreed. During the sign up, he wanted to keep his name, since he wanted it to strike fear in the hearts of zombies. However, during his time of service, the Gardener gig really grew on him, and he decided to stay, and possibly be fully reformed to a contributing member of society. He now serves as a helper, providing an array of tactics to turn the fight in favor of the Gardeners.
Strategy: Jack O. Lander is an all-around fighter, specializing in offense, defense, and even support. He is the only helper that may use an ultimate, and behaves most like an original Gardener.
Jack O. Lander’s weapon, the Thief’s Trowel, is a melee weapon that also offers a ranged option. Stabbing an enemy will result in an instant knock out. The ranged attack is Jack’s dirty hand gun, which does 60 damage per hit, and immediately prevents enemies from using abilities.
Abilities:
Flaming Lantern:
Jack O. Lander can throw up to 5 Jack-O-Lanterns that explode on contact with either a zombie or the ground, creating an explosion that deals 50 damage and applies fire damage.
Pumpkin Patch:
Jack O. Lander grows a medium area full of pumpkins, which can be used to protect Gardeners from up to 750 damage before breaking.
Supply Drop:
Jack O. Lander calls in a crate to land in a select spot, which provides sun, med kits, and plant food to the Gardeners.
Ultimate:
Autumn’s Anger:
Jack O. Lander can summon a powerful Spooky Squash, which while not as strong as the original, still inflicts a similar curse that requires effort to break, still summons backup plants and still takes quite a beating before falling.
