Species: Unicorn pony, while his magic isn't as strong as others, he has the special ability to know exactly when someone else is lying. He is like a living lie detector.

Family: Applejack (mama), Flim (father)

The only son of Applejack and Flim, an extremely ambitious but socially awkward colt. Chikanery knows exactly where, who, and what he wants to be and he would do absolutely anything to get there. He is smart, one of the brightest minds of Twilight’s magic school in Canterlot, while he isn’t the greatest with his actual magic he is amazing at potions, so Twilight decided to give him a chance. She couldn’t pass an opportunity on such an intelligent student. He moved to Canterlot at the age of 6 to be close to the school, Applejack had a really hard time letting him go but Twilight promised to keep him safe, as he will be living with the Sparkle family. He is hardworking and stubborn, he is prone to never giving up and always gets frustrated when he has to. He never really fit in with his family, his interests and dreams were always so different, it was hard to keep a conversation with him even if Applejack tried to understand the things he talked about. The young colt was always really awkward, to his family, friends, and classmates. That never really changed. While he isn’t shy or scared of others judging him, he is still very awkward when it comes to normal, everyday conversations. If it’s his studies or homework, he can talk easily with his classmates. If it’s a friendly conversation he often gets stuck and doesn’t know how to respond, he is especially bad at calming people down or listening to them talk about their feelings. He often forgets to sleep, to focus on his schoolwork, or on searching pieces of information about the newest unsolved crimes. He hopes to be a detective one day, solving crimes being his hobby from a… really young age, which Applejack found a bit worrying. If it was robberies or anything like that, she would be fine with it. But the colt found most of his interest in murder and missing creatures cases. He still does now. Chikanery likes walking around the city, he always loved walking under the sun, it helped him clear his head. He can be often seen walking around Canterlot, reading a book that is levitating in front of him. Either that or taking care of the small garden Twilight created just for him. Roses were always his favorite to care for.

Special Talent: Chikanery’s special talent is knowing exactly when the other creature is lying, Twilight believes the broken element of Harmony that lasted in Applejack gave him that ability.
