A blinding flash of lightning shocked the frail dark body into full attention. His wounds stung from the salt water crashing relentlessly against the rock on which he stood, yet he had no intention of moving. Not now. Not while the sky jolted and screamed and howled with a violent storm, one of which he had never been truly able to see in his young life.

Lias flinched at another deafening thunderclap. It was terrifying. On this foreign island, all alone. A wiser wolf may have gone to seek shelter from the downpour, from the danger of the powerful elements.

But he couldn't move. Each flash captivated him. Every rumble sent his heart racing over and over again.

Another strike of lightning forced Lias to lower down instinctively, as if getting closer to the slippery rock beneath his paws would somehow save him from this foreign threat. It was both terrifying, and a relief.

He'd rather take the threat of lightning over the cruel ruling of his former step-father Zedd...

A shiver ran up his spine, and he shook out his fur -- though it was more to rid himself of his memories of his recent past. This was a new start. A new land. A new him.

And this time, he was the one in control.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Honestly, I did not expect to finish this so fast? I mean it's technically late, but I asked for an extension expecting it would take me at least one or more days to finish??

idk i feel i just did this one way faster?? prob cause I've done a similar lightning piece with similar composition with Brigind (check it out here Lightning Crashes )

Anyway, tried a new method for clouds and I like it way more for storms! much softer and cloud-like than other pieces I've done imo

But yeee, here's Lias ' first bimonthly loner prompt response! I already love this spider legged boy so so much. I have so much planned for his development!
