Work was slow tonight, and luckily I'd brought my laptop and drew during the downtime.aaaaaand decided to design Ironhide in the TFP style.
He is fantastic and I adore him beyond anything. <3 <3 <3
Some details and colors might change when I get around to a more cleaned up version.

Care to show us or give us a link as to what his vehicle mode is? But if he will be showing up sometime later in Prime, I just hope whoever is voicing him will give him his G1 Texan accent, that would make my heart sing!

I love this!! I like how you exaggerated the crest on his head, cause Bulkhead kinda stole his normal one, lol, and I'm really digging the big shoulders and actually really like that you brought in aspects of his Dreamwave War Within windshield, and having those two corners of his bumper on his chest give him that old boxy look he had. And the RED! I liked Bayverse Ironhide, but Primus do I miss the red T_T. Seriously, if Ironhide were to show up looking like this, I'd be immensely happy

I took a lot of inspiration from Movieverse, but threw in some old G1ish stuff. The windshield look actually comes from his original toy. :d
I have all of the loves for movieverse Ironhide, but totally agree that he needs to be red in TFP. <3

Whoa really? I guess that would be WHY Dreamwave designed him that way, lol, learn something every day! And yeah, I actually liked Bay Ironhide, his character was actually recognizable (unlike...most of the others haha) but gimme red and a Southern drawl and I'll just melt :3

I wish they'd used Ironhide instead of Bulkhead... He and Ratchet would have been way better counterparts to Breakdown and Knockout...

Ironhide was originally going to be part of the main cast, but was later changed to Bulkhead. Which I find extremely depressing.
