Man, this is a really great design for Brutaka. Kinda makes him look like a badass beetle samurai.

I've always imagined Brutaka to have more of a lean and agile build, but I like this interpretation of him. Puts him properly on the level of Axonn and the likes.

Did you segment the mask as it is on purpose? It reminds me of samurai headgear and whether or not if that was the intention, I kind of love it. I also like that you made the mask brighter than the rest of the gold parts, for a reason already explained in the comments...!
I really enjoy the overall aesthetic of this interpretation of Brutaka, especially that despite how sleek and organic it looks, it doesn't completely give up the mechanical aspect, making it a perfect BIONICLE fit in my eyes.
