Rose was not too sure just what was going on.
One second Yan was still there and the next she was left with a stranger that was trying to take her reins.
She tossed her head and shimmied back a few small steps.
What was supposed to happen?
Was something expected of her?
With wide, fearful eyes she looked around, searching for her human but the storm made it impossible to spot him.
Snorting in distress Rose backed further away, almost knocking over the mountain obstacle.
The human in front of her seemed very unsure herself and that did not make matters any better.
Then Rose had made her decision: She would absolutely not let anyone else touch her.
No Way!
A high-pitched neigh tore from her throat as she half-reared on her hind legs, whipped around and bolted down the arena, her tail waving like a flag behind her.
