My son uploaded a picture of himself with a cigarette and it was upsetting of course. Then, I remembered that back when I was in my early 20's I also had a picture made with me holding a cigarette. While waiting to have my picture made, I looked through the costumes and found a black suit, a hat and a boa, and then spotted the photographer's long cigarettes on her desk and knew it was the perfect prop. I also remember my mom's horror when she saw me with a cigarette, so I guess it has gone full circle. Here's the link to his photograph:[link]
NOTE: I do not and never hav smoked, it is one of the worst things a person can do to themselves.

The picture was made back in 1983. The costume belonged the the photographer's studio. It was a fun day. I also had one made the same day in a "southern bell" outfit, which my mom liked more, of course. My son likes to be a little different and shocking in his art.

Thank you Lawrence. I need a scanner. It's a picture of a picture and that's about as good as I could get it using that method. It was fun finding it and remembering that day.
