Description
The young lioness was eager to talk to Ni, a strange rogue that'd saved her life when she was a cub. They embraced each other. Ni loved Nala. But she wouldn't like a scruffy older lion like him. Plus she still loved Simba..even if he was dead.

"Ni...what are you doing here?"
"Just walking around...ended up here somehow. Wow this place has changed since......" He paused not wanting to bring up the tragic accident. He'd heard about it at the watering hole.
"Yes." It was all she could say before choking up.
"Oh Ni..it's so terrible! I never knew what evil was until Scar took his place as king. I need you to help me..you may be scruffy but you're very strong." Ni grinned at the compliment. "I need you to..." Nala looked around and whispered, "kill Scar."
Ni looked at her in disbelief.
"Ni, you could become king! Or..or, or we could try to find my old friends Tojo and Chumvi! We could all-"
"Nala...no. Remember....." he smiled a little as repeating a phrase used when he'd first met Nala. "I don't attack other lions.."

Tears formed in Nala's eyes as she exclaimed, "And especially not young flaky ones like you..."

They embraced once more.
"Nala, go try and find some help. The pridelands need you."
"Ni...come with me?"
"I'd love to but..I can't. I fear it's time for me to leave. You might not ever see me again."
"Ni..no."
"I'm sorry Nala....I'm going to find your friends. They'll be more of a help than I will. I'm getting too old I'm afraid."
"Ni........thank you."

Nala ran off, beginning her adventure.

"I love you Nala." These were his last words as he collapsed on the ground. What Nala didn't know, is that he hadn't just walked around and came upon the pridelands..he had walked there to see her. However, he was extremely dehydrated. He never lived to see Simba's reign...
