Hi everyone;

I'm posting a road-vehicle sprite this time-(well... not exactly a "road-vehicle", but a car neither the less), this one being a little fun concept that went through my mind a few days ago. Now I'd like to share something with you guys, a bit of information that's not "that" important, but one that i'd like to share so to give this post some context, and it is that I like a small motor-sport called "Formula-1", now i'm not a huge fan of it, but I do like to research and learn new things from the sport's past, specialy regarding the seasons from the 70s, 80s and the 90s. And an idea went through my head these past few days, one that asked "what if Sodor (in universe) competed in the sport?" This idea was keeped rolling on my head until I finaly decided to put it on paper... Well... On the computer, and came up with this little sprite;

This little car is perhaps Sodor's only Formula-1 car, and was based on F-1 cars from the 1974-1975 seasons-(a season is a number of races that take place in a year, in multiple countries), with the main sources of inspiration being the "Ferrari 312T", the "Hesketh 308" and the "Lola T370" respectfully.

Now I didn't really think of a backstory for this racing team, it's cars and drivers-(there needs to be two of each to be able to race, by the way), but if you asked me, I belive the team was mostly formed by Sudrians who were huge fans of the sport, up to the point where they started a fund in the mid 70s to afford a builder to make the cars for them, their racer has ramained unknown to the public since then, but some say that he used to drive a small red bus near a branch-line somewhere... But who knows. The team had some dificulty trying to find a sponsor, since no one was willing to put their brand name in a car that might not even be able to race, but two sponsors were soon found to be interested, that being "M.C Bunn" and "The Sodor Fuel Company";

Though the expectations were high, the team's mark on F-1 wasn't really the best, with most of the races they were able to qualify ending up with the cars eather breaking down, or veering off the circuit. During their last race, one of the cars was close to gaining the 3th place, but duel to bad weather and the car's tendensy to oversteer, the team's leading car was disqualified from the race, and ended the team's career as it smashed it self on to a wall... But luckly, no one was hurt.
