Bleeeh. This's my piece fer the second day of Equestria Daily's Artist Training Grounds event -- the theme for it was ponies training (fer the mock war against the griffons), so I did ponies doin' pushups. With bushels of apples on their backs. Why not?

I'm actually disappointed with this right now -- did the sketch first an' loved it, but when it came time ta actually make the piece, I didn't know what direction I wanted to take it. I wanted to do something more graphic than my normal painting, but still in a painterly style, but it just didn't work out. Ended up just makin' it two tone with black line art, an'... I don't really like that, hah. On top of that, I lost steam and made a sloppy background again.

On a side note, this is my second apple-related-feat-of-strength-based pony picture, an' I only realized that about halfway through bein' done, haw. Ah well.

I might make a different entry for the ATG if I can muster up the will, haw.
