Okay, so, if ya've seen the majority of my work, ya know I kinda have a problem with confinin' myself to desaturated colors. It's not a conscious thing, it just kinda happens. I wanted to spend just a little bit a' time making a painting where I left the saturation at 100% (or very close to it), an' this happened. The drawin's not great, it was just supposed to gimme somethin' to color. This is my saturation overkill paintin' so that, maybe next time, I can reel it in and use some good saturated colors.I'll probably move this in ta my scraps later, it's not really a real paintin', just an exercise.

I've looked at this liek 3 times before commenting, but I have to say I like those saturated colors. I don't know why, I just do. And that hair is really unique. it somewhat remids me of that fake Easter grass ribbon stuff.

Hah, the saturated colors are a little too much fer me, but I had ta give 'em a shot, hahah. Glad ya like 'em!
I'unno about the hair though, it's interesting, but probably a bit too, uh, impressionistic. XD

Real painting or not; I'm in love with this! Her pose and expression is wonderful and you really nailed her hair, considering this is just an exercise!

Glad ya like it! I do like the hair, it was fun, hah. Pinkie's hair's always intimidated me, though, I didn't even know where to start. XD
