...and I have you to thank for it (well the seeing and shooting part, not the actual sunrise part). I was perusing your journal this morning and those scanographs got me thinking about scanning some blood oranges I had in the fridge. When I got up to slice them I saw the first glimmer of a cool sunrise out the window, so I grabbed my camera and sped the few blocks to the bay and grabbed this shot. Just minutes later the spectacle faded. Still haven't scanned those oranges.

So this was today's sunrise!? How lucky you were!...and I am pleased to have been able to help in my small way.
And as for blood oranges, my mouth waters ...they were my favorite when last I visited Italy. I must have drank quarts and quarts of blood orange juice while I was there. It is one of the things I am eagerly anticipating when I return there this spring.

Yep, that's how my day started.
I actually had some Cara Cara oranges when I got back. Have you had those? They are awesome, couldn't waste them on the scanner.
Italy huh? I hope we can expect lots of pictures.

Yes, I just discovered Cara Caras, this year actually...that lovely red color (which would be nice for scanning) and a flavor somewhat midway between navel and blood oranges. Just had one this morning myself...synchronicity.

Yes, it is a nice change of pace. Quite a bit earlier than yours I see. Tho' that's going to change pretty quickly.
You got me thinking about all those sunrises I used to shoot in my early days of dA trying (in vain) to keep up with your alter ego G-K. Being on the sunset side of your sunrise.
