Cinders and ashes! It's been 39 years since the number 1 tank engine made his debut on TV! And this show was part of my childhood. The Island of Sodor has never been the same with all the engines being busy and working their hardest, and Sir Topham Hatt (or the Fat Controller if you live outside of the USA and Canada) makes sure everything is on time without confusion or delay. Thomas has many friends like Percy, Gordon, Henry, James, Edward, Toby, and Emily. They're all useful.They're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight

They're the really useful crew
