Here's another Double Feature regarding bands.

The first one is the Sun Ra Arkestra, suggested by ImmaCornflakes . They are a jazz group who have been around since the 1950s, making them one of the oldest music groups I've drawn thus far. The Sun Ra Arkestra are known for pioneering afrofuturism, as well as their iconic outfits consisting of capes and headdresses. I drew three of the most notable members. Their music combines many different genres, including jazz and ragtime. The Sun Ra Arkestra, including Sun Ra himself, starred in the 1974 film Space Is the Place.

Sun Ra - Black wildebeest. In life, Sun Ra (that is what he preferred to go by) was a prolific musician and adopted a persona where he saw himself as a peaceful alien from Saturn. Sun Ra sadly died from a stroke on May 30, 1993. Even after Ra's death, the Arkestra continues to perform.
Marshall Allen - African giant swallowtail butterfly. As of November 2023, Allen is the current leader of the Arkestra.
Danny Ray Thompson - South African springhare. He passed away on March 12, 2020.

The second group is Soul II Soul, a neo soul/R&B musical collective who were initially active from 1988 to 1998, but reunited in 2007. This group was suggested by TheNostalgiaCritic20 . They managed to have two hit songs; "Keep On Movin'" and "Back to Life". They won six awards, two of which were Grammy Awards. I only drew the current three members (making it a trio), so no "you forgot" comments please.

Charlotte (Kelly) - Red-rumped agouti

The Sun Ra Arkestra(C) no one. They're more of an "independent" group.
