Hmmm....I like it but I feel like it might be suffering from "Same thing but make it bigger" design syndrome. When it evolves it almost has the same color, and its eyes are basically the same thing and its limbs just get longer and inflate a bit.
To make it differentiate maybe try something different with the face? I don't think color is a huge issue, I mean look at the Jigglypuff line for a good example. But maybe because its pre-evolved give it less mean looking eyes? Or change the style so they're more approachable, similar to Snubbull? Just brainstorming....!

I'll look into it, though I'm not as invested in the Pampooch line anymore (not since Furfrou came on the scene lol)

Since a poodle's size depends on its breed maybe use different breeds as basis for the 2. I feel like pampoodle's sprite could do with a better fur texture, maybe some curls.
