Kaiyak and Incogrove are my favorites. I think Incogrove's name maybe should be reworked, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue...Skrawk feels like that beta Doduo pre-evolution to me. I don't think the Potion needed a pre-evolution haha But to each their own, eh? And I don't like Binars. They feel like monsters from Last Bible to me...

Anyways, Skrawk (to no one's surprise) is in fact preDoduo. I liked the design so much it felt like a waste not to use it!
Some of the other babies were based on type distribution though. ??? for Bug/Ghost, Kittery for Electric, Binars for Steel/Fighting, and somehow Medisprate for Poison.

New additions. Seemed like a waste to have breeding as a mechanic and not give some incentive to use it.

I’m not using any of the real Pokémon aside from Ditto for breeding purposes. As for cries, so far I’ve just reused old ones as placeholder

Correct. Most of my fakes fulfill the same roles and type combos so there would be a lot of redundancy. If you have any suggestions for non fake Pokémon to include though, let me know

Kaiyak, Hazvat, Friteshade, Skulture, and Bushidude and Sinistar, I'm guessing you might go for a tyroh sorta thing where the stats deside its evolution. I honestly love all of these, my favorite thought is probably Skarwak, I like how cute it is and the clever name, which I guess means Skull-Rock-Swak-wak

I was planning on having the two binars be paired in the same sprite, but haven't figured out how to compensate for the extra color.
The idea is that one would have the Steel type and one would have the Fighting, and when evolving only one would survive

Well I recommend maybe looking into what they did with jynx in the virtual console where it has purple skin instead of black. I think pia might know more about this since he plans on doing it with yellows Venasaur.
