Portrait of Richard Starkey. Also known as Ringo Starr.Charcoal and graphite pencils. I didn't keep track of time spent on this one but it definitely longer than John. I had a great quality picture to work off of (My copy of "Ringo's Rotogravure" a record album I purchased back in 1976.)

Even without this tone in this portrait he emanated this warm and solid impression... of a somehow very cosy character, if you know what I mean (and I do know what cosy means in fact, but I just can't find a better word for what I meant here). The colour really suits him well.
