Description
This is my submission for promt #72 of my general One Piece claim over at fanart100 [link] . My promt table is here [link] .Luffy and Nami. Nami's fixing Luffy's hat. It's very exciting.
I came up with this idea a while ago. A sketch for it is actually lying around my scraps pile [link] .
I'm... decently happy wth how this came out. I believe this is my first colour-pencil only piece... EVER so I guess I did okay. My favourite part is the one I did first, Luffy's right leg. Everything else kind of went downhil after that.
I screwed up Nami's shirt so many times I lost count. Also her visible foot. I kind of like the texture on the hat, though, and Luffy's expression came out better than Nami's did.

Did Hat survive the operation?
Great colours, I love the "texture" of traditional mediums. I can definitely see this happening. Need not be shippy, but I choose to see it as such.

Oh yes, I love em. FB and I did a cute oekaki collab of LuNa that should be somewhere in the gallery, and I did one for Valentines and a few for people's kiribans. Good pair, so cannon.

Well that's a whole other debate in itself (I'm pro LuNa BTW) which in no way affects the rather interesting quality of this pic.

I didn't really intend the pic to be one way or the other (gen vs. pairing-oriented). I just thought "it could happen," and the situation could fall under either rubric. I'm about as non-militant as it gets about pairings, and I figure you can look at it either way and I wouldn't really care. You see what you want to
Not that that there aren't pairings I enjoy more than others. In OP especially, though, there's very little canon to go on, romance-wise, so it's all a matter or interpretation. I just like playing with the various permutations XD
