Richard and Kahlan from the Legend of the Seeker, episode Desecrated, second season
it's not finished yet, but I had this unstoppable need to show off.
I seriously outdrew myself with this one
it's done on A4 paper, used pencil
their faces took me approximately 3-4 hours each
and Kahlan's face is just...ridiculous xD I barely managed this, even though it isn't right

How so? You do seem quite cool
sort of xD I want to have tendency towards perfection when showing a moment of love, or however you want to call it. I think that's difficult to catch and it needs to be perfect to feel right. Which is what I tried to do with this drawing xD that's why I decided to give it a whole weekend 'till I made it perfect for my eyes. I never dedicated that much time to any drawing before. How much time does it take for you to finish a piece?

I have been called that before - in my job, where people deal with me in real, but I think it is the first time on dA, that that has happened! Thank you for that!
I like dedication. Some of my works take 15 - 16 hours - sometimes I distribute them over as much as 3 months. Sometimes it is within a few days, sometimes in one go. It is all about being obsessed with what I am working on. And I think a great start deserves a decent finishing.

I think I'd get sick of whatever I am working on xD I guess I still need to work on my patience xD

I teach for a living - mostly adults striving to find a new strat in a new profession after a personal catastropy, like sickness, an accident or comparable reasons.
And even if there is no need to thank you, there is the wish to do so!
I have been working on this on and off! Oh well it has taken me a long time to understand that I cannot rush things.
